History

Park Jin Young founded the company in 1997 as "Tae-Hong Planning Corporation" which eventually became "JYP Entertainment" in 2011. The study and based in its office in the U.S., JYP USA, oficilamente opened in New York in June 2007. In October 2008, JYP Entertainmet expanded by opening the JYP Beijing Center as its branch in China. The same year the CAA (Creative Artists Agency) included JYP Entertainment in its list of high-profile client.

The company is considered one of the largest management companies in South Korea, along with SM Entertainment and YG Entertainmet. In an interview, Park pointed out that the success of their artists is due to the creation of a "brand" for them. It is reported that the group is valued at over $ 100 million.

In June 2009, it was officially announced that JYP Entertainment and the Jonas Brother's group signed a management contract with the Wonder Girls World Tour in 2009, in some cities, such as the opening act for his songs "Nobody" and "Tell Me". The same year also founded "Holyim" a joint venture with JYP KEYEAST Entertainmrnt and HBO. In March 2010, KMP Holdings was establesida given through an joint venture between JYP, SM, YG, STAR Empire and other companies. KMP is the official distributor of emissions from these companies. KMP is short for (Potential Music of Korea).

In November 2010, Park Jin Young JYP Entertainment announced that it would merge to J.Tune Entertainment. In 2011, JYP Entertainment has partnered with SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment, KEYEAST, and J. Ament Star Entertainment to create United Asia Management, Management in an effort to promote Korean pop music at international level. In February 2011, JYP Entertainment JYP co.Ltd changed. JYPE is very famous for their skills and success in foreign (China, Japan, Taiwan and U.SA). JYP specializes in singing, dancing, martial arts, Idoma, modeling, etc..
